By introducing certain additives, AgSnO2 materials produced by powder metallurgy techniques can be modified in such a way that contact resistance and over-temperature behavior can be kept low and stable over the lifetime. Material transfer in DC operation is low. The AgSnO2In2O3 contact material is non-toxic and environmentally friendly.
